Cooks, Thomas, Snead, Coleman and one of the speedster rookies is five. There are some good looking rookies coming to camp this year. Do we really have room for another receiver on the roster? I'd hate to move on from a promising young talent.

Re: Saints working out Hakeem Nicks
If you're going after Boldin you just as well bring Colston back. Colston is 3 years younger and had comparable stats.

Boldin however hasn't truly lost a step as most would first point out. Technique, consistency, aggression is his game. Again at age 34, 35 the hands are ELITE possession receiver hands. Pick your poison... 9 route (go route) or 7 yard slant, chances are AB is going to catch the ball. If you are a stats guy, Boldin has had TWO drops in 2015 (let that sink in) which is a ridiculous low drop rate percentage. The dude is still crafty in the middle of the field. Competes on every play and from what I have read, strong locker room presence. Colston is one of my all time favorite Saints, but he isn't productive as Boldin is at this point of his career. |
