In 2013 the defense got the offense out of a lot of jams they go themselves into. That's the kind of defense I want, only better against the run.

Only in the first couple weeks and in Atlanta and against SF. Otherwise, we were dominant at home and lost our last three road games. I mean I don't know if that defense is coming back but the offense should not be in those situations to begin with, especially at home. Brown's problems did not cost us at home that year, but on the road it did.

I did say I want them to be better against the run. The season we lost those road games is because that defense was such a disaster against the run. The reason we beat Atlanta was because they had no run game. We beat SF because all they tried to do was run and Ryan put 8 men in the box. Kap couldn't capitalize. And the offense put themselves in those situations. Who is Brown?

I'm pretty sure "did a damn good job" and 31st ranked defense are mutually exclusive standards.

In his 12 seasons as a Defensive Coordinator he only had 3 that ranked in the top half of the league.

He has a history of making excuses but not good defenses.

The Rougarou is just mad because the food was better in New Orleans.
Plus now he has to deal with getting wing sauce stuck all over his face.
I'm just glad that he's up North outta here.
