I wouldn\'t even be willing to re-annoint Drew Brees to the Chargers savior yet. Let\'s see how he does this year. If he bombs this year then he\'s a bust that had a fluke season.

I agree, probably why they gave him a one-year deal.

The guy is a bust. He cost the Saints one year salary and 3 tons of hot dogs. Even if he shapes up this year he has too much to make up for that lost year. He\'d have to sack the qb more than anyone in the nfl and deflect passes every other passing play. If he does well then fine resign him at a discount or trade him. You don\'t reward laziness.

Take a deep breath, it\'s gonna be okay. Sully is still a Saint and it might be useful if this 1st round draft pick plays well for us this year.

I wouldn\'t go betting the farm on it or nothin\', but you never know.

Me personally....I just expect more from the Saints, a team that I buy merchandise from, that I buy tickets for to go to the Dome. To know that there\'s some fat slob who\'s salary I am in some ways paying for....

What\'s to LOVE about a guy that didn\'t try last year and held out for big money? He stuffs his face on the sidelines and didn\'t even dress out. Oh sorry i have this \"Hate\" going but he didn\'t prove anything last year. Heck what was he supposed to say\" UMMM yeah I\'m gonna request ribs on the buffet this year while i sit and watch the game from the best seat in the house while making a killing doing it?\" Please. You can be positive but You take a deep breath and hold it for sully to perform to expectations and when you pass out I\'ll be there to grab your wallet

Thanks for the optimism gumbo, but this is the guy who screwed up the best trade ever for us. Ricky for a 1st. we had TWO first rd picks, traded up and drafted this loser!!!!As a 6th pick he should have came in here and worked his a$$ off. i am just tired of people makin excuses for this piece of garbage!!!

Hey you want to discuss fine. When people dissagree with you they must be postal or angry or hateful? Just accept that some people are not as in love with sully as you are and are not just gonna praise the guy on his words alone. He does have a chance to prove himself but he cost this team a year, 2 draft picks, a huge salary, and embarrased the organization. Are you and Sully good friends or eat at the same buffet or something?
