2 first round picks is a lot to live up to I\'ll admit...but..at least show up ready to play...I find it hard to believe that he will be in good enough shape to even try to play...sitting on the bench, and sneaking away during games to eat like a pig are his best attributes thus far... He did this to himself...and it\'s going to take more than just a verbal expression implying he might try to do better... Pro Bowl or Bust...for real |

Anybody want to take a stab at how much Sullivan costs against the salary cap since he\'s been here and what could have been done with that same money?

Hey, no player hatin\', RDOX. Gumbo may be a lot of things, but only his wife or catamite can say them.
This lummox has played 2 years, not one, and has already received $11 million in guarranteed money. He\'s got another 5 years on his deal, and the cap hit would be pretty significant. My guess there\'s a void clause in the contract after this season, otherwise, why would the dump truck ever get motivated? What I don\'t get is, Sullivan started 14 games his rookie season. He didn\'t have much of an impact, but he still started. Why?? |

Gumbo... I\'m so happy you are upbeat about Sully. Because you know what!??! I am too. That one day when this fat arse actually fulfills his potential, all of you will be eating your words.
As much as I\'ve been disappointed in this fool, I try to look for the best of this guy. Maybe he\'ll be a late bloomer, maybe he won\'t. But it\'s always better to think positive than think negative. Deep down inside I bet most of you guys would want to see this guy succedd. Crap I\'m drunk, but I love to see young guys succedd. <~~ Am I spelling this crap right?!?! WHOCARES! GO SULLY! |

It seems we\'ve got a few posters on this board who read what they want to read. Regardless of what Sully has done in the past, it would have an enormous impact on the defense IF Sully would play to his pontential. I\'m not into this hating stuff. If someone feels that way, fine! |

Well I certainly prefer his enthusiastic comments over \"I ain\'t gonna do squat\"
This is good news guys. Why would anyone want to cut the guy right now when... A) He saying all the right things, which he previously didn\'t. B) It would cost us much more to cut him than keep him. C) Our well respected D-line coach has taken him under his wing with the intention of turning him around. D) He has all the physical talent to be a flat dominant DT if he does get his attitude right. There is absolutely no harm at all in keeping the guy and taking a wait and see approach. If its all BS and he comes into camp fat/lazy/ out of shape then yes, cut him right then and there. But there is ZERO harm in giving him a chance. ZERO! |

I don\'t think anyone here is saying \"let\'s cut him\" or \"bench his fat butt\". I just think that we are highly skeptical, and rightfully so. I think all know that it would be far more costly to cut him at this point. If all else fails and he bombs again this year, he can be a speedbump for stadium parking.
