Not sure but I've seen enough. Cancel the experiment, he can't consistently catch at this level. I hope coach gives another guy a shot in practice and subsequent pre season games.

Re: Good bad ugly

I saw a team that was flat. Good efforts and poor performances.I've seen some projections from media that I thought were somewhat underrated. I think that they are on the mark after watching this game. We can't run block and still can't rush the passer. These are fundamental aspects of the game. I think our talent level is improved. I always take preseason games with a grain of salt. Good bad and ugly. The third pre season game is always the truest example of a teams state of readiness. Pittsburgh is a good measuring stick. The turnovers are a huge concern. It was obvious that Thomas was held on Brees int.Murphy cost himself a spot with his fumbles. Given what I've seen so far I think that talk of playoffs is nonsense. Improvements of the other teams in our division is going to make our chances slim to none.

From what I have heard the Panties look even better than last year. I think the Bucs are going to break through this year and maybe win the division. Atlanta I'm not worried about because we usually beat them no matter what. We just have their number. It starts in winning the division and that will be tough with Carolinas and Tampas defensive lines I'm afraid. They need to bite the bullet and get a veteran lineman or Brees won't last until the bye.

I will wager you what ever you wish that Brees will last until the bye withouit adding a veteran lineman (which I assume would have to be starting to have any impact, right).

I'd like to see Jordan Williams be given game opportunities; he had a tough grab in the second half for seventeen yards...

Tommylee Lewis maybe? Our O-line better get it together or it's a mute point who the WR is.
