Josh Sitton
Here's the answer to our problems boys! With the John Kuhn connection we've gotta make this happen! |
Re: Josh Sitton
Wow that is a surprise. Wonder what the deal is. If he's healthy then... make it happen Loomis!
|
Re: Josh Sitton
An All-Pro left guard has literally just fallen right into our laps... Now would be a great time for Brees to sign that extension he was willing to sign for Josh Norman so we can make this happen.

Re: Josh Sitton
Better than signing Evans.
|
Re: Josh Sitton
So nfl.com says they're hoping to trade him, but will release him otherwise. Likely due to salary cap constraints. Our cupboard is a little bare on draft picks but I would happily send them a 6th, or 5th if we have one.

Re: Josh Sitton
put that trigger man could change the entire season

Re: Josh Sitton
Why in the world would the Pack cut him this close to start of season? What does McCarthy know? Proceed with caution.

Re: Josh Sitton
So the Packers are just letting him geaux because?
When the rest of the league heard we were cutting All-Pro Jahri Evans loose, teams just lined up because we foolishly let him geaux? I'd feel better trading for a guard a team is retaing but has the depth at the position to make it happen...like the Eagles... Something's wrong that they're cutting him loose... |

Okay, credible source, maybe we can kick the tires...not to hard a kick... |
Re: Josh Sitton
If it's just contract issues, then at this point I would send a 3rd rd for him. He's a proven player.

There were some really strange cuts around the league, but this one definitely catches the eye for obvious reasons. Sure would be nice to reel him in.

Re: Josh Sitton
He can be had. Loomis does his kick the can down the road contract.
Let Byrd walk next year. Probably would have to be a 3 year deal. 7 to 8 million a year might be the price. Keep Barns as your swing OG LG would no longer be an issue for a couple of years. Still up in the air is Peat and and his future at RT. Cutting Strief in 2017 would save few million also. |
Re: Josh Sitton
Please sweet baby Jesus in your Golden Fleece diaper please someway somehow can the Saints sign this guy !!!
|
Re: Josh Sitton
Don't you do it Ryan Pace! Don't you dare sign him! |

Re: Josh Sitton
Well they can free up 1.67ml each by cutting Lelito and John Jenkins
|
Re: Josh Sitton
He's all about his money. Don't blame him. The Saints can't afford to pay him.

Re: Josh Sitton
The Bears just signed a huge contract extension for their top OG today. 10 million per season!!! Maybe now they might not want to tie up as much money in OG's as Sitton will cost them quite a bit.

Pace is just gonna make himself out to be a fool when its all said and done, all he's doing is making himself a punching bag by Rodgers.
I do think bears finish second in north this year though? |
