Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I may be in the minority here, but i would not mind at all if we went back to back LB in rounds 1&2, more specifically...
1. Reuben Foster, Alabama 2. Hasson Reddick, Temple our speed/talent would upgrade tremendously at LB. Talk about having two impact playmakers with the ability to quickly diagnose, drop in coverage & effectively pressure the QB. |
Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
There was a running back that looked good also.

Tyus Bowser, OLB, Houston 6021 240 4.67 #81 Sr HGT 6024 WGT 244 HAND 10 1/8 ARM 33 WING 78 1/8 Flashes and a ton of them. No one I talked with could point a complete game he was able to flash together. Some one will over draft him I am sure. as high as round 3? maybe just on athleticism and build. As far as based on his overall play? I see why he faded as the season went on. 6/7 IMO. Question to be answer is how solid is his floor? how high is is ceiling? does he have the football IQ to put it all together? He has a lot of money riding on the rest of the off season beauty pageants. More importantly his interviews will make him or break him. Should be fun to watch If we are to reach in any round or package up picks and roll the dice on a LB and you are willing to hold your breath Haason Reddick, DE/OLB Temple 6014 237 4.54 #58 rSr HGT 6014 WGT 237 HAND 10 3/8 ARM 32 1/8 WING 76 3/4 The DE/OLB “tweener” label is blown to hell and back. After the senior bowl you are comfortable with him as a 43 WLB and are now toying with the idea he can fill in the slot on a TE and/or a RB. Added depth at safety is not out the question is either. So much for the possible mid round steal label. I have to watch more of him. So far he is a blast to watch. More than a couple of people I talked with had him stashed as the steal later. They were not sharing him for sure till the senior bowl invite. They all wanted to see if he had coverage skills at this level. He played RB and CB in high school. Well secrets out he is a solid gamble with huge upside. I did not know he was a walk on either. The story line with this kid is well worth the read. Rudy goes pro |
Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I still like Rueben. Houston had a tough time beating a few teams because they allowed too many points. Would really love to have Quincy from Florida or Marshon from Ohio State both CB's
