Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
Priority FA? LMAO is it to early?
Actually there is one RB I really like that is getting absolutely no chatter which is a good thing. Needs some coaching. In a year on the PS you might have found yourself a steal. He is one of my top diamond in the rough players. Chris Carson RB Oklahoma State 6005 215 4.52 #32 Sr Square peg round hole? Great power, determination and athleticism. Solid option out of the backfield 5.8 YPC on 115 attempts during his three years. A spread offense may have not been the smartest choice for him. May not be an every down back but has the potential to be a solid part of a rotation. |

Two rumors from WalterFootball...
"Sources with the Saints say their first-round pick might come down to the best available player at edge rusher or cover corner." - Charlie Campbell "While it is very early in the process, here are five teams that are showing a lot of interest in emerging Connecticut safety Melifonwu: Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, and Carolina Panthers." - Charlie Campbell |

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I so far have looked at two ILBs and it appears that Foster is the clear top tier option. I saw a lot of flaws with McMillan(think his ranking is due to OSU and being on a defense with other good players). I will only look at one more and that will be Jarrad Davis.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I like foster but would rather a CB Marshon or that guy from Florida. I think we should alternate CB then DE throughout the draft

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
Yeah I am pretty sold on ILB Foster - I think we move up to 7 or 9 to snag him.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
We had a shot at Deion Jones and Kwon Alexander and passed on both, they both had excellent rookie seasons and one is a major reason his team are in the super bowl.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
A CB in the 1st round? ... he better be Marcus Peters type talent and production coming out of college. I'd rather a pass rusher or LB (Beasley, Bosa, Leonard Williams, Shane Ray) at pick #11.
There is Cam, Rankins, Fairley, (UFA) and everyone else. This defense is in desperate need of play makers. |

"I think he picked up all of (Marcus) Peters' good traits as a player without the personality defects. He marries that great FBI (football intelligence) with an explosive close-out and that will win in the pros just like it wins in college. You will always wish he was 198 pounds, but he won't be." -- NFC East regional scout That's hard praise to ignore. |
