Saints release QB Garrett Grayson, third-round pick in 2015.
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He will be re-signed Monday. we have played the 3rd qb yo-yo game many times. Grayson has shown enough to be in danger of being picked up....

Yeah, but he was so solid we couldn't keep him. Didn't Loomis or Payton say something about wanting to give him a chance to start somewhere? We still have one of the better backups in the league with McCown as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think it was stupid. As I pointed out earlier, only one in ten QB's drafted ever even make a roster as a backup. You have to keep trying them out to hopefully get one that can cut it.

Great, but I want my money back for the Steelers game. Having to sit through that, in the stands was agony. Between Grayson's performance and the dim lighting in the terrace because of the new scoreboard, I kept falling asleep!
