Re: Rumor- Delvin Breaux Broken Fibula
I know this isn't about Breaux but why the hell did we let pierre warren go? That cat played six games and got three turnovers. Byrd been playing over three years and he has only two. He plays too timid. Idk if coaches didn't like him or what but we can sure use his ball hawking aggressive play, i know he didn't tackle too great but neither does Byrd.

Re: Rumor- Delvin Breaux Broken Fibula
If Crawley can become more aggressive maybe he could be the starter. I am hoping it was the bright lights that made him nervous. 7 reps of 225 is more than tyrann Matthieu however tyrann is very aggressive since his Lsu days. Hopefully, they can coach him up

Do we look to trade for a starting CB?

Re: Rumor- Delvin Breaux Broken Fibula
Here is the issue with our secondary
Ken Crawley did not excite me as a CB but as a FS in training I could see it. here is why and I saw him as a PS candidate. Saints signed Colorado CB Ken Crawley. Crawley (6'0/187) started all four years for the Buffaloes, logging three career interceptions and 36 pass breakups. He offers impressive athletic tools, running 4.43 with a 36 1/2-inch vertical at the Combine. Crawley's tape is more concerning after allowing 19 TD passes in his career and committing 12 pass-interference penalties as a junior and senior. Crawley's plus size-speed combination got him here. Now it'll be up to NFL coaches to mold him into a big-league player Ken Crawley - New Orleans Saints - 2016 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com Now De'Vante Harris is a different story. He is a solid developmental CB and yet again PS talent at this level. Plays with plus instincts and locks in on quarterback to read his intentions. Able to step outside his area and go make a play on the ball. Plays with rapid response to the throw. Understands the game and gets secondary line up. Very communicative on the field. Plays with tremendous confidence. Loves to come downhill and strike incoming receivers with authority. Runs through his targets and delivers as much pop as his thin frame can muster. De'Vante Harris Draft Profile Of the two maybe and just maybe De'Vante Harris can claim a spot on the roster. Even then he should be relied on as a special team player and the bottom of the depth chart. Saints got caught with IR bug and limited availability of talent in their CB pool. When they stepped into major playing time I knew we were sunk. Carr was liking his chops in the fourth with all the turkey on the field. They are not ready next year has some solid CB talent Marlon Humphrey Bama appears to be the clear cut #1 and for good reasons But keep an eye on Adoree Jackson USC - who seems to have come out this year and tackled the biggest knock against him. So far he is attacking and tackling everything in sight. What I really like about the kids is this: hustle and productive at multi positions: cornerback - wide receiver - returner disclaimer - Jonathan Allen is still my favorite DL player in the draft. |
