Back-Up QB
That\'s the same thing they said about Ken Dorsey CanLoomis
This is what Shaun King has proven to us throughout his years in the league --> :eck05: With that said, I would love to bring a guy like Gus Frerotte in there. The guy should be starting period. I would love to have O\'Sullivan back here, we all know that! But the Saints always seems to manage to draft a solid qb in the later rounds of the draft so I wouldn\'t be too concerned. Bouman is serviceable for the time being. |

Back-Up QB
Although he might be off the board before we are ready to invest a pick in a backup QB, I would love to see AD McPherson drafted. First, being the die hard Seminoles fan that I am, I would love to see him in Black and Gold. Also, he comes in the mold of Aaron Brooks except with even better athleticism and a stronger arm. Indeed, his past transgression provide a big question mark to him, but I think he would be a great backup and even the successor to Brooks should the Saints eventually want to go that route. But his name is flying up draft boards and I dont think investing a high pick in a backup QB should be a priority. Anyone have Jeff Blakes number? They could always get him to return.

I like King. I watched him a Tulane, and he was impressive. He\'s not a game-breaker by any means. But he is a guy, IMO, who with a supporting cast, can distribute the ball well, take what is given to him, and be successful in the NFL. I wouldn\'t mind seeing him as insurance. He\'s a better option right now then Bouman.

Back-Up QB
I think overall we should find someone with strong character. Someone who will not be discouraged by the transparent politics that is the QB situation in New Orleans. Tim Couch is definitely NOT that. That guy cried because the fans in Clevland booed him. What will he do if he comes here. The New Orleans fans have boos ready in their back pockets. |

I like king myself. I don\'t think we need a back up QB at this point. Spending money on a Back up qb and taking a cap hit for cutting someone and still having to pay money out to them... Kingsbury is a sleeper in development. I see him edging Bouman out at number 2.
