"Defense" is an embarrassment!
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Take away the pick-6, we win 21-20. Take away the fumble, we probably win 28-17. Defense played good enough to win. And they still can't tackle, and they still can't cover. Can't get off the field on 3rd and 17 ...

Take away the pick-6, we win 21-20.
Take away the fumble, we probably win 28-17. Defense played good enough to win. And they still can't tackle, and they still can't cover. Can't get off the field on 3rd and 17 yet AGAIN. That has to hurt somewhere; I'm not getting paid and I can't stand it. We will be fighting every week to outscore our opponent. Because of the defense, the offense can't afford giveaways. As ugly as it was, the defense played good enough for a win. |
