4-1 in the last five games.
And for the record, I was pointing out the hyperbole used by BOTH sides of the coin in trying to make arguements that cannot be controlled by us fans. This team is what it is. We are all Saints fans and we all won today. And so far as your holier than thou comment? I'm just tired of reading threads nominally about Saints football that devolve into personal attacks on one another by the same members. Over and over and over and over......... |

But there are those who like to take a passive aggressive approach to criticizing people like me, which was how I interpreted your post. If you think I'm wrong, feel free to tell me I am. I just know that for every post I make that isn't viewed as positive, there is always a follow up telling me and others that we're never happy, or something along those lines. I am happy for the win. When I was a kid I didn't really analyze anything. Over the years I've found it difficult not to, when I've seen certain things play out over and over again. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Enter: Sheldon Rankins...
Didn't see anything special from him yesterday, negative or positive. I'd say that's pretty good for a first game in the middle of the season.

Re: Enter: Sheldon Rankins...
For whatever reason we still have half the defense playing zone and the other half playing man coverage. Somewhere there is a communication problem and for the life of me I can't figure out why.

He's got good footwork and the agility of an edge rusher in tight quarters but he got chipped or helped by another olineman rather often this game. One of his spin moves got him by the initial olineman only to see him get chipped by a second blocker. Few times his hump move allowed him to re-establish the LOS but the ball would come out quickly and negate his progress. As Lelito said...he can dent a pocket. Will be easier to see him flash against pocket passers/ teams that utilize 5 and 7 step drops/ and when we 5man blitz a lot to get 1 on 1's Sounds promising . |
