I'd still be leary of committing too much to Fairley...

Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see a change at the LS position; Practice Squad TE Garrett Griffin can also long-snap...

Mauti is a fine player, but what will he be like even if he gets his gut healthy?

Hightower is blocking Lasco's development - time to move on...

Sterling Moore should be re-signed...

Don't know if Lelito regressed or was injured in some way not disclosed, but I don't think we can re-sign him for what he may seek...

Snead is a restricted free agent, do we run the risk of signing him to his tender?

From Hightower or Lasco?

Maybe it's just me but I think Hightower has been an outstanding #2 back and can fill in for Ingram at a moments notice without much, if any, loss. At $840k, he seems like a pretty good bargain.

I got to agree here on Hightower, and will add he's looked better than Ingram at times. I would love to see us with a sledge hammer type back to wear out opposing D's but Payton being a pass happy coach I'm typing in vein.

So am I. This could be a contract year performance and then he goes for the big bucks. The question will be, has he changed or will he go right back to the player he was in Detroit?

If I were the saints I would go performance based contract and keep tabs on

Johnathan Hankins NY Giants 25 / 6'2' / 320

NYG spent a lot of cash on signings FA for the DL last year. He might just slip out of town. Hankins is much better against the run and collapsing the pocket.

If the contracts requests are even close I would sign Hankins
