Re: Not a Single Saint Made the ProBowl
Thought Fairley would of made it but yea its a popularity contest now just like the nba all star voting. Big market teams are gonna get their people in.

Re: Not a Single Saint Made the ProBowl
maybe if we didn't **** the bed verse detroit and tampa it would be different, but you can't have your offense not show up for your two most important games of the season

This is true. Those were brutal. And Brees was awful in those two games. The offense was awful. Ick.... Everything was awful.

Re: Not a Single Saint Made the ProBowl
Yup, and I'd add to that losing to Atlanta and Carolina in prime time...anybody outside the market who saw the Saints this year on TV, saw the same thing we all pretty much saw....not a very good team. Most of the time the Saints were on prime time TV this year, they not only lost, but they trailed and were behind on the scoreboard for almost the entire game....

Re: Not a Single Saint Made the ProBowl
I'll bet the Green Bay fans didn't vote for Kuhn.
Early on I thought that Brees and Cam would get in but then I was thinking that Laurinitis would be a shoe in for the pro bowl. Boy was I wrong.......I'm still spitting out feathers from that one. The problem with this team is we don't have enough proven talent anywhere other than quarterback. Next year our young team will have more experience and hopefully can play as a cohesive unit next year. We do have extra money to bring in some young hungry vets and six draft picks I think. |
