4-5 play makers on each side of the ball, then role players to fill in the gaps. 60 or so plays on each side of the ball... where players only have to be good on the 5-10 plays that come there way. We don't have enough "play makers"... guys that fall on a fumble and hold it... touch an INT and actually catch it... grab a guy on 3rd-and-8 and actually make the tackle... get open on 3rd down and actually hold on to the ball... We have a bunch of almost(s). Hard to win consistently like that. |
