To change DCs again just looks clueless and sends a bad message about stability and continuity after so many down years.

We could hire Farmer Fran as new ST coordinator...he runs roughly the same kind of practices McMahon did.

You know, seriously, not that you'd want to overload a secondary coach, especially the great job ours is doing...

But at the levels of football I participated, the secondary coach also ran with special teams assignments and coverage...

I noticed and asked one of my Head Coaches why this was and his response was "who better than (the secondary coach)? (He's) got a better understanding of spacing and zone assignments than anyone..."

Still seems legit...

It took several games for me to be sold on DA. You could see how his players started to gel - especially against the run - as the season went on. All we need are a couple of good players on the line and at LB, and I think DA will have this team clicking after training camp.

But, it's really not just Dennis. It's pretty obvious, at least to me, that a whole bunch of that success is due to the position coaches. All we need are some really good coaches to get this team clicking.

And yeah, some more talent couldn't hurt either as long as we get some folk who know what to do with them.

Re: Vitt, Johnson, McMahon, Kwan, Willis FIRED

the second i heard this on the media outlet who do i think of, yes the black and gold solid as they come fans of BAG. we played ,we laughed, we joked and cried together about shipping vitt and company for so long, yes yes yes i cant believe it. but not happy about anyone losing a job, but if these guys didn;t save for a rainy day shame shame. theres a reason they ,if ever they got interviews with other teams to leave the warm compty wings of payton, they knew better was to stay put. not saying alot for there moxy or confidence but i'm calling them out why they never advanced past the superbowl year. i do believe johnson may have jumped ship for a year or 2, but comes right home in the dome. where there was job security.

thats the fact jack!!!!!

Re: Vitt, Johnson, McMahon, Kwan, Willis FIRED

to me payton should be coming into his prime if hes one of the best of the best, hes been in a tailspin since vitt took his job over when he was suspended. is this the banging of the gong him saying this is enough of the shortfalls and tailspin losses with lbs out of place say like atlanta game with long td run. was that the gong that sent him into a whole new brainset and put these mind boggling mistakes that he could not take another snap with that defensive coaches group. i'll tell you what i yelled out ,( who the hell coaches this up). finally i'm at peace with payton taking a stand and SH%TCANNING THAT GROUP.

thats the fact jack!!!!!
