The defense showed improvement and Allen showed repeatedly that while working with a squad full of temporary players he could make adjustment at the half, which is something that Ryan could never do. What the defense needs is stability. You don't get that by making change at the top. THAT makes no sense whatsoever.

Because he is human and he most likely cares deeply about all of them. I'm sure he would have wanted them to come out of the rebuild we have been going through since the end of the 2013 season with solid results. Did he give them more chances than another coach may have? Yes, I would say that he definitely did. But, regardless of what some of you believe, Payton is not stupid. It was clear that these moves were required and as painful as they had to have been, he did make them. Give him that credit and let's all move on.

Here are the only things I know, 1 winning season in the last 5, 7-9 with an 0-2 or 0-3 start is Saints football. It is the rule as of late, not the exception.

Outward perception and scapegoating are regular parts of firings. Hence Low Energy still being here despite consistently putting up losing seasons and the defensive side of the ball constantly catching the brunt of his dumbass decisions and loyalties

He hired **** for brains RR. I sure didn't want him. Maybe Sean the control freak should hire a real dcoord and let the guy bring his own ****ing people in, but no he is such a **** for brains that he keeps failing because he is a control freak and hires people he can control.
