Re: CBS 2017 Mock Draft

2017 appears to be a good draft to go linebacker, DE/pass rusher or RB.

There seems to be conflicting reports on how deep this draft is for LBer's. After the top couple of draft picks the rest of the prospects have several flaws that need to be coached up. Currently we don't have anyone coaching the line backers so I'm not willing to invest our top round pick on a player that is not game ready.

Reuben Foster one million, zillion percent.

Anderson a close second.

That's about to change.

True Nose Tackle? I'd consider this the pick to make maybe in the second...

No. 44 (R2, 10) DT Eddie Vanderdoes, UCLA; Height: 6’ 3”, Weight: 320 lbs.

We need another one to go with Davison. Not enough pressure upfront would be solved and wouldn't have to pay big bucks to Fairley. Crush that middle and it becomes a foot race to the qb. I really hope Ireland is right about Anthony saying his best football is ahead of him. If he can earn his way back to the middle and add Vanderoes, trying to run up the gut would be tuff to do. I still want Peppers in the 1st and adding another OLB wouldn't hurt either.

I do not think it is a favorite formation for DA look at the defenses he ran in Denver and Oakland. I think it was more a forced hand this year. He really had no other options.

Eddie I have questions about. I see the desire for a pay day as his driving force this year. Started out really slow and really was not that big of a factor,

I would wait day 2

Dalvin Tomlinson DT Alabama 6022 305 5.14 #54 rSr

day 3
Jaleel Johnson DT Iowa 6027 309 5.15 #67 rSr
Ralph Green III DT Indiana 6036 320 5.14 #93 rSr
Josh Toupu DT Colorado 6011 325 5.22 #55 rSr

Round 6-7 fav
Ralph Green III DT Indiana 6036 320 5.14 #93 rSr
HGT.....WGT.....HAND.....ARM.......WING
6033 317.......9........34 1/2.....81 1/2
a lot of ability and offers a good degree of upside potential

Might not be hagen but with our cb.'s are made of glass and he has 2 choices, draft and FA to replace what we have now. Our cb.'s need to be upgraded in my opionion. I would love more picks in this cb. heavy draft but unless the front 4 does better it's not helping out any in the middle or secondary. Peppers is a jack of all trades and I would hate to see us pass up on someone the secondary could build their unit around. I think if we don't get him the Ravens will. I think he could step in Vaccarro's spot day 1.
