Let's say we trade him to the Titans and swap first round picks... Would that be worth it having the #5 pick?

With so many holes on defense & a developing stud in Thomas, I understand the talks. If the Titans are talking about giving up their #5 pick & possible compensation (mid/late pick) you must consider it.

Nothing will surprise me anyone.

I don't know. Right now it's sounding like the compensation would be their pick #18 plus a mid-round pick for Cooks.

His contract is affordable this year but wont be much longer. If he isnt happy youll end up with a player not putting in the work and refusing a new deal so you loose him for less. Sell while the price is high for me

Players usually play better before a big money year.

I'd like to see him stay. But Michael Thomas made him kind of expendable. We still have Snead. But it's better to have a little too much at the position then not enough. After Snead the experience/talent of our WRs drop off considerably.

i don't like the trade idea but i will accept it only if we beef up needed positions with picks or trade, i'm still holding on to the thought that he will not fetch a 1 pick, its a drew brees thing, he will not produce anywhere without the payton playbook. that greener pasture thing again. marriotta will help him better there. without a cast of good recei

Cooks actually helped Thomas. Now Thomas will be the one drawing the top corners. This all pointing as I said to Fleener being prepped up.
