Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
If there was a way we could get multiple picks, or manage to keep our 11th and get the titans 5th pick I'd be all for it. Two 1st rounders in a defensive heavy draft could be huge for us.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
Well if he doesn't get traded does that become a problem? After being rumored of a trade candidate he could really be disgruntled after that and want to leave us for sure when contract is up

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
I wanted that freakin' #5 pick to begin with. The #5 gives so much more leverage in the draft, coupled with the #11 your able to basically move back at other teams expense and get the players and picks that you actually target. Ireland can put together a D fairly well, and if losing Cook to get us there I'm all in. We need cb.'s, NT, DE, S and an OLB, some of this will come from FA but the draft is deep at DE, CB, and S and I look to see some true upgrades at CB this season in the draft. I also think Colemans progress made Cook tradeable. Now I hope Vaccarro gets a turn on the trading block.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
On second thought I probably would do it. LF is a greater threat than Cooks and the Panthers are going to snag him more than likely. I do not want to face LF twice a year. Cooks does not generate that threat level to me and the first problem to solve is winning the Division. LF is going to be a problem for years if the Panthers get him.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
In this draft 1st rounder for Cooks is a great deal. If we can get 5th pick for Cooks that would be one of the best moves our front office has ever made. But I highly doubt that would happen. 18th pick is more realistic.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
LF could also help our D (keeping them off the field) and give our old QB a break. Panthers would then be scrambling around to get the other RB Cook more than likely which probably won't happen for them.
