I wish we had more trash talkers to add some fire to this team. The 2009 Super Bowl team had some nasty players on it. You need a Jeremy Shockey. You need an Anthony Hargrove. You need people who want to fight and get in your face. I never imagined going onto a message board and seeing a group of fans who wanted to pass on not one, but two of the top cornerbacks in the league when cornerback has been a position of need for a decade. And for what? To gamble that a rookie becomes the next Richard Sherman when you could just have Richard Sherman? If Brees was willing to take a cut to get Josh Norman here then I'm sure he'd do the same to get somebody like Sherman...who is the superior corner to Norman.

Im with you. Id send that 2nd first for him. Dont like it as much for Butler as he can be got next year and keep the 1st

I agree. I wouldn't send a 1st rounder for Malcolm Butler, and I'd be iffy about sending a 2nd, but I'd send a 3rd and some future picks with no issues at all.

Sherman is more overrated than any cb I've seen in a while. If he has no help over top he got destroyed last year. I would not give a 7th for that over paid bum
