That indeed was an extremely ugly episode... but I don't think that equates to a player being a "problem"...

If the Saints for any reason decide to still draft a RB, which is entirely possible, I personally kind of like the idea of drafting Curtis Samuel, because it's truly a toss up as to whether he is a RB or a slot receiver. Given the Saints' love for using RB's in the slot, he might be a real weapon in that role. It's worked before, though Spiller was obviously a bust.

Considering Samuel is from Ohio State, I half EXPECT them to draft him. We shall see. Not in the first round, though.

Okay, I'm probably in denial, but I think the Peterson signing is the greatest smoke screen ever because that's what Payton does to Saints fans - misdirection, expect anything...

Realistically, Payton is probably doing exactly what they said they'd do, bringing in a slate of CBs and DEs through the draft, throwing as many darts against the board and hope something sticks...

Who knows, maybe Coach didn't appreciate Ingram's tantrum last season and AP is a transition plan and they're still going for McCaffrey?

Either way, I like this signing and look forward to sticking it to the Vikings in the Season Opener Week 1 in their stadium with AP, and Payton just stuck it to the league who were planning to feature Dallas in Week 1...
