New Orleans Saints: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee: C+ Grade
This is a very difficult grade to make. On one hand, Alvin Kamara is a steal in the third round because he easily could've gone exactly one round earlier. On the other hand, the Saints surrendered a 2018 second-round pick to get another running back, when they just signed Adrian Peterson? I don't know about that. I'd love this if the Saints didn't give up such a valuable resource, but I have to penalize them.

AND we traded up for him?!? This is ridiculous

Somebody get Payton and Loomis out of the draft room, please for the love of God.

Williams, Hendrickson, Basham, Willis, Rivers... still on the board. There aren't many edge-rusher-needy teams between now and our next pick. Remain calm.

Im trying K, but nearly every pick has made me slap my forehead, and trading up at a steep price for a 3rd down back makes me want to punch a baby.

Possibly. Per scouting report, he is a notch below Christian McCaffery in route running ability. I see value in the 3rd.

Kamara is a strong, young back.
