this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; They didn't move up, they exchanged this year's 7th and next year's 2nd for the pick to get the RB. Pretty much the chart value for when they took the guy, and if he turns out to be something similar ...

Pretty much the chart value for when they took the guy, and if he turns out to be something similar to what Thomas or Sproles was - then no one will question the pick couple of years from now. It's a roll of a dice like all picks. Sent from my FRD-L19 using Tapatalk |

Re: Day two draft hangover not as bad as I thought
Marcus Williams (UTAH) is a pick I really like. Outside of Hooker, he could be the best FS out of the the 2017 draft.
18 turnovers over the last 3 years. Impressive. |

Kamara could be the piece to bring our offense back to the 2009 and 2011 levels.

Sitting here listening to Anzalones phone call into the Saints draft show. If nothing else he seems like a smart kid who definitely knows his football. Understands his strengths and weaknesses, but is willing to play wherever he is needed to the best of his ability.
I'm interested in seeing him on the field in the preseason! |

I'm happy with the draft so far. We didn't draft a QB and thus my computer lived to see another day.

Why pass on Malik Mcdowell @ 32 to draft a tackle that probably would have been there for us in the 2nd round.....Trey from FAU we waited for a PR but hopped on the O-linemen early...they must really think we are solidified at DE

Maybe some of the picks aren't as bad as they look, but it's no denying we missed on some serious talent
