Re: Day three:Rounds 4-7
OK this is what I got
Raw as we all know Street kid. explains the issues. making a buck and not taking crap. Nasty tough player that like to beat up on blockers rather than dance around them. Needs a ton of coaching to learn how to be a DE. Counter moves and such Attitude wise he is just nasty on the field. Some thing that needs to be reined in. Has the ability to push the pocket, move QBs off there spot and rack up plenty of QB hits. Number one concern? Needs to stop looking for the easy way to get a job done. ok not to bad but a serious project on the field. Need work in between the ears and get his head on straight. long term if he puts his mind to it is a solid rotational DE. If things click he could surprise |

Re: Day three:Rounds 4-7
I heard the interview live. Articulate isn't how I'd describe it. He did sound sincere though.

Re: Day three:Rounds 4-7
I didn't say he was going to sit the bench. The Saints use multiple tight ends a fair amount. But regardless of what Fleener makes, that doesn't give him the right to start. The Saints made a mistake signing him, and if they had drafted a tight end who would have come in and outplayed Fleener, then you go with the better player. Fleener becomes an expensive backup, but so be it. How many teams break the bank for a quarterback in free agency, and then they have to bench him a few weeks into the season? You can't be held hostage by a price tag.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
