I've seen it mentioned and I can agree that Kamara looks a lot like a Charles or Foster type runner. He has the same build but the thing I like the best is his no quit style. PT had a bit of that but I don't see the Bush comparison.

To piggy back on what I said. This video shows his skill set pretty well. Sorry if this vid has been posted before, I didn't see it.

Just finished reading a interesting stat from the UT RockyTop blog. During his career with the Vols, Kamara scored a TD per every 12 touches on offense. To me that's big time & a potential threat at the next level. When you watch his tape, he appears to be deceptively fast (official 40 was 4.56).

I can see why Coach Payton is so excited to have drafted him.

Edit: Check out this simulcam 40 time comparison between Kamara, Christian, Dalvin Cook and LF.

As long as we're comparing, I'll throw in my opinion. Watching Kamara, I'm reminded most of Willis McGahee. He has similar vision, quick cuts, and a never give up attitude. Me like!

It's the ability to make plays in the open field that draws comparisons but PT was elusive as hell. I also think he'll have a similar impact as Sproles or Bush though when given the touches.

Only one short clip against a formidable team, the Gators. The rest of the video shows a lesser opponent.

Re: Rookies

If he and Marshawn Lynch we're on the same team offense would be unstoppable. They have that same technique where their legs just are not stopping even if they're dead to rights

Re: Rookies

Glad you brought this thread back to life ...

I've got a feeling Lattimore is going to bait Bradford into throwing a pick on Monday night.

Quicker but certainly not stronger.
