If these doctors have been screwing the team for a while, I hope some of the players and the Saints can get a settlement. And hopefully the new team doctors know their stuff.

I can see this scenario. What I read on stress fractures versus bone contusions mentioned the difficulty in an appropriate diagnosis until the enema has subsided. Although, you would expect the doctors to error on the conservative side and treated it as a fracture until they could tell for sure. I could see them being pressured into a premature decision. But, that is on them for giving in if it was the case.

Sounds like this was a move long overdue.

Getting the initial diagnosis right is so important to get the proper rehab etc. asap.
