Re: Saints Fire Orthopedists
I sold X-ray equipment and it is difficult to scan through a tremendous amount of swelling and get an accurate reading on film. Many times I've seen a better reading once the swelling goes down and the radiation doesn't get diminished on the way to the bone.
Still, it was past time for these guys to go. These misdiagnosis have been ridiculously incorrect and it has to stop. We lose at least one player a year to poor evaluation. |

Re: Saints Fire Orthopedists
Having worked at a health insurance company for 17.5 years and having a wife who is an RN that has worked both in hospital risk management and as a malpractice claims adjuster for the last 30+ years, I can attest that more than just the nurses know the good ones from the bad ones. It is just that the information isn't readily available to your average patient.
