I don't think we are done either....done giving up points and scoring 1-2 TD's a game on offense.

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done
Dude, when I was 19 at LSU, I used to watch Allison Collins at some bar on Acadian, I think, the one with the pool tables on a 2nd floor. She is so hot. I used to assume she was looking at and singing just for me. Surely she was and surely the Saints are gonna turn things around soon. Cool post.

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done
The Saints are really bad. Gronk's TD was a perfect example of our defense. We almost sacked Brady, almost covered Gronk and almost tackled him. We seem to always be a half step from making plays on defense. The surprising part is unfortunately the offense is not much better right now. We struggle running the ball. We have no big plays and receivers in general just dont get open much. Brees' numbers end up looking OK because in the 4th quarter when teams are in prevent we get some yards. Hopefully when we can get the line healthy and Snead provides a spark when he returns. I thought Tommylee Lewis or Coleman would be able to shine in Sneads absence, but we really miss him right now. Terrible weekend for Louisiana football. Whats worse, getting lit up by Tom Brady or Nick Fitzgerald? Yuk!

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done
The way we looked yesterday, vs. an injury depleted Pats team, I can see us going 0-16, possibly.
Nevertheless, I am a Saints fan. Ive probably seen worse. I will continue Hoping. We Hou-Dats will be at the Boot Sunday for the Carolina game. Got friends going to England. Screw it. Lets pretend our guys are in The Hunt, and raise holy hell, and have a good time with it in the Dome. Me & the Viking Princess will be in NOLA for the Lions game. I'll See some of you in 4 weeks. |

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done
I applaud the optimism. As a life long Saints fan, hope springs eternal. But, this season, the coaching staff, and Brees in black and gold, is at most 14 games away from being done. Sorry. That is just the painful reality of the 2017 New Orleans Saints.

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done
This season is far from over and we may very likely be laughing at ourselves by December...
There's no question this team is in a transient phase right now and we're seeing the regurgitation of poor management these past five years plus... |

Not sure if you caught Tony Romo's analysis on how our D was giving out so many different looks in coverage, yet there were repeated mental lapses. It's a bad sign to see KV benched this early & Vonn B has been just as suspect. We are already close to "wait until next year mode". Outside of Cam, Brees and a few others, I don't see guys playing with any heart. |

We're seeing much better drafts than we were three, four, five years ago... Does the team still need organizational change, no doubt; but we've got better talent and better coaching than we had three years ago... But things are transitioning and while emotions are rightfully running high after two nationally televised embarrassments, things are going to get better... |
