If they were protesting "black lives matter" would you still be fine with it? Would you support their rights? You don't even support America's right to protect itself against terrorism, because it's somehow too invasive.

Funny how people only care about the constitution when it suits them.

I will always watch my saints. But I no long have those all day long channel surfing Sundays. Neither does my good Sunday football gathering. 20 people now watch their team and that is it. I think that is fair.

They have the right and we have the right, It ends there for us. No hate involved it is just a disagreement.

Everyone has the right to say what they want. end of story

On the bright side we are not going to get that winter weight gain as bad lol

Unlike most people I giggle each time the week before a division game when I hear a player on the division teams players go down and will not be on the field against us.

Yes I cheer for other teams to beat up on division rivals. They are professionals and need to accept the risk of their profession they have picked. Besides the money the top dogs get I real do not care if their careers are over.

I go into this game wishing more players were out and I hope we knock a few more out.

no cheap shots!

A good clean hit that leaves a player on the turf and needs to be carted of does not bother me one bit, as long as they are moving. Paralyzed is where my concern starts. Arms heads legs do little to raise my concern

I grew playing old school football and I am to old to change now.

I'm not talking about quitting as a fan (though I will stop watching them if they join in on this protesting crap). But there are times when games get in the way of other things, and you have to push things to the side to watch the game. I feel less and less inclined to do that. I want the Saints to win badly, but whether they win or lose, they don't help me with anything. The season ends, and it's like it never happened, until the next season comes along.

Also losing feels a lot worse than winning feels good, in my experience. Though I subject myself to it anyway, I'm not afraid to walk away if I can see it's just making me too aggravated. It has nothing to do with not caring about the team, and everything to do with self-restraint. Some of us are a lot more competitive, and we don't find joy in watching a team lose, and so our tempers flare up.

I guess there's another big difference. I never let it aggravate me. And believe me, I am ultra-competitive on a personal level. But with the Saints I am not the one competing.

Hagan, as has been stated many times by myself and others, it's one thing to disagree; but it's another thing to protest out of ignorance.

I've had lot's of disagreements in my life. I've disliked things players have said or done, but it was never a team wide cancer where I couldn't look at them the same way. This is bigotry by the very people who accuse others of the same offense. And if that kind of disrespect is going to be thrown in my face, when this is supposed to be the thing that takes me away from life's issues for a few Sundays out of the year, then they won't get my support.

If this is all no big deal to you, my friend, then that is your business. But it is not an opinion held by the majority, and there is a good reason for that. These guys literally make their money off the fans. If you take away the fans these guys are nothing. At least until such time as they find something else to do with their lives, because sports are utterly meaningless, in the grand scheme of things. Society doesn't survive on sports.

With that in mind, these guys would do well to listen to their audience. The fact that they have gotten so full of themselves that many of them no longer care about the fans at all, tells me it's time for them to be knocked down several pegs. If we keep telling them "do whatever you want, just don't leave us" we are making hostages of ourselves, for no reason.

If that's true, then there's no point in being concerned with what people say about the Saints. You don't get aggravated with the team, yet you are pretty consistently aggravated with what people say about them.

Wanting to win, means not wanting to lose. That tends to make people upset when the team is losing. I'm not advocating for getting mad, which is exactly why I say that sometimes you gotta walk away.

In America you can say what want.

You also can do pretty much what you want as long as people do not get hurt

To turn a patriotic view on this topic into a statement against what they are saying is only makes their argument weak. that brings us to a different issue all together.

Makes one wonder what the true statement some people are making.

What is more patriotic, trying to make this country better -even more like it says it is on some very sacred papers or maintaining the status quo?

Well, my instincts were right. I went into this game incredibly otimistic. Carolina was not looking right to me at all. The offense had a low scoring game against the bills last week. Their defense played no one. The defense at first had me shaking, but they managed to hold them to two FGs and, thankfully, after not capitalizing on a punt, we got a turnover and didn't look back.

Does Brees beating Cam mean that Brees is a racist? Just curious.

And are the Panthers racist for pulling Cam late and replacing him with a white QB?

Just trying to keep up with the new NFL politic.

That is assuming the veteran even has a home. Bunch of them living under bridges but who cares right.

When the players keep it out of football, most everyone else will. Until then its fair game.
