I’m so intrigued lately by this guy:

OLB/DE Lorenzo Carter, Georgia; Height: 6-6; Weight: 242 lbs

I would have him playing SLB in base and DE in sub-packages. His length and sideline-to-sideline range is incredible. Could he possibly last until the 3rd round or will he have a meteoric rise like former Bulldog Leonard Floyd?

Interesting fact: Carter was high school teammates with Alvin Kamara.

Nice - Payton likes going right into his clubhouse and getting first-hand scouting reports; but I find that works two ways...

Sometimes we get guys in the clubhouse, good guys, but they're not really good players, just podnahs that needed an NFL gig...

He's a lot like Kikaha, and is limited as a 3-4 OLB...

^^^ It appears Leighton (honestly, I'd never heard of him until last month) is rising up the draft boards as of late.

Questions I have are ...

How is his hip movement/change of direction?
Instincts ?
Ability to shed off defenders ?
Sideline to sideline closing speed as a tackler (see Deion Jones/Kuechly)?
Coverage ability in space ?
