Esch measurable says he a MIKE but I see him on the outside (WLB) at the elite level. The combine cone drills, 40 times were impressive but I didn't see those traits on tape. Sparq scores are nice but they are only a small piece to a big picture.
There are lots of other players I'd like at 27 but this kid ain't one of em. |

If Sean Payton wants a new toy opposite Michael Thomas ... Kirk could be the answer. Not sure if falls to 27 though.

Leighton Vander Esch ... quite a few mocks have him to the Steelers @ 28 (fills a hole/need due to unfortunate Shazier injury).

The Cowboys seem to be very enamored with him as well. I more I keep reading about Vander Esch, the bigger fan I am becoming of him. I wouldn't mind him at all.
