I thought that for this Saints defense to be successful that Lattimore would have to vie for rookie of the year award. And he certainly is in the running.
If he stays healthy, this is a home run draft pick. Something we've desperately needed on the defensive side of the ball. And that safety we drafted in the 2nd round does not appear to be too far behind. |

I'm really surprised Kamara isn't in that number. If Lattimore can last 15-16 games a season we may have hit gold. I just hope we aren't looking at another "All Pro" that is only good for half the year.

I'm not all that surprised to see where Latt ranks after 4 games.
He is the type of player where I can see him used a lot like Patrick Petersen is in AZ. Just line him up against their best WR and literally watch him take away half of the field. Lattimore is just that talented. |
