Yikes Danno - I awakened the sleeping giant.

You tend to get really upset about the cloudy view on this board and I wonder why that is. I\'m not knocking you at all man, you just kind of confuse me at times.

Like, you give the Saints a D in FA, and then get upset when people suggest that the Saints probably won\'t be much better this season b/c they didn\'t do much this offseason. Seems like you don\'t want the facts to get in the way of your hope. Don\'t misunderstand, i\'m not trying to knowck you at all. Honestly. I\'m just trying to figure it out. I know that you\'re fair and reasonable and I agree with most of what you have to say about this team. I just don\'t understand why you get so upset when people say that FA sucked or the coaching staff are nimrods. It seems that you say the same thing... ????

Been there done that! :rollinglaugh:
Its hard work but somebody\'s gotta do it.
He\'s always gonna have some stiff competition for his job also.
But he\'s gotta strive to be the head of his class.
And he\'s always looking for holes in the opposition.
Unfortunately after a victory he always seems to go into a slump.
He has trouble staying up for the next game.
He always seems to look for the Tight End for some reason.
Occasionally he\'ll try the Wide Receiver though.
Some of the odd ones will occasionally take it right up the center.
Either way he better have the Safety on his mind.

\" a cow can cross the tracks and de-rail the train... the conductor can have a hard attack..\"
Did the cow cause the \"hard attack?\" If so, I\'m officially disturbed ... and the sheep is jealous.

\" it\'s half way there\"...
If we\'re still talking about the \"hard attack,\" that\'s just too much information...

Sorry I\'m late to the party.

Billy, I think you have a huge hole in your argument. Specifically that many of the issues with this team are not player specific, but related to the front office, coaching, and scheme.

Frankly last year Venturi couldn\'t coach his way out of a paper bag, and McCarthy\'s offense was tres predictable until the team got down a touchdown or three, and then the offense opened up.

Venturi is still around, and Mike Sheppard is a wild card.

So I\'m not sure.
