I hope that means he is willing to accept a "team friendly" contract offer. He deserves to get paid, but we also need some pieces around him to be successful.

Just get Cousins. Brees will want more than Cousins and has no shelf life. I know that won't happen but it would be a smart move.

There is no way he will make more than cousins next year. There is going to be a bidding war for cousins and the browns have 130 million dollars. Cousins will make 30 next year and Brees will be closer to 18-22

There could be a bidding war for Brees. Both he and Cousins are saying it's not about the money. I guess we are going to find out.

No bidding war for Brees. He will be a saint for life. They will pay him and he will accept. He has a good team around him which is ontly missing a player or two. Bree’s has signed 3 total contracts with the saints and there has never been other teams in the mix. Drew is not nick Satan. When he says he is staying he means it.

Drew is going to set records that will be almost impossible to beat. He won't leave New Orleans for money. Right now he is focused on chasing titles and getting another Lombardi.
