Lol come on guys, you kinda sound like a bunch of old ninny's, nitpicking his choice of words and his choice to meet with multiple teams. I don't blame him for it. This might be the last contract he signs, I'd take my time too. And if he does sign here and ends up being a key piece on D then none of this is gonna matter. Just relax and let it work itself out.

If the above ^^^ Cap # is somewhat accurate, this how we shape up against other potential suitors :

Titans - 57M
Saints - 17M (I'm not certain if that # includes PRob or Okafor)
Seahags -16M
DeathStar- 2M

Maybe Suh hates country music (sarcasm)

? I simply don't see a Suh signing in NO happening. I could be completely wrong but I don't see it.

Just doubled checked the NFLPA database and deals for Alex Okafor, Demario Davis, Patrick Robinson and Jermon Bushrod are not in system as of 8:34 a.m. Tuesday. This number will go down.

Don't forget the $9M in 2018 roster bonuses are still in play. They can easily be converted to signing bonuses (team option, player has no input) and amortized over remaining contract years. This can make an additional $6M to $7M available immediately. Loomis loves writing roster bonuses into his contracts for this very purpose.

I need to up date this. Checking spotrac.com it appears that the Saints now have $12.46M in 2018 roster bonuses. That translates to almost $10M in available cap relief.

I say we forget about Suh and let the rest of those teams have a bidding war. We need to stay out of it. Offer Hankins a good deal and he will do just fine.
