He is elusive and runs good routes but I would rather get a second tier or #2 in free agency than give up our 1st and play big money to Landry. We just don’t need to spend that kind of money and give up our 1st for a WR. We have shown over the last 12 seasons that we can plug and play. If he was a FA then maybe but given no up the draft pick and paying north of $10M is too much. I truly believe we have one of the best route teaching and technique teaching WRs coach in the league. I want a 6-2+ that can stretch the field and I see some in the draft that could come in and contribute that would cost a lot less. I believe we need to address the TE spot more than WR. |
