If it was for vea I would go to bed with a smile. If it was a second rd trade for next year, I wouldn't be so upset. If it was for Lamar Jackson I would understand. Unless Marcus turn out to be AP defensive rookie of year this will be a bad trade

Sorry, but anyone other than a QB because Brees is here for years to come. And Lamar Jackson has repeatedly promoted the fact that he would never play any other position other than QB. His mother has made sure that was a well known fact, as well.
No matter how fantastic an athlete, or QB, that Jackson can be, that does not fit into the Saints' short term plans. We don't need an uber talented athlete that refuses to help the team and insists on holding a clipboard wasting a roster spot. |
