Not sure what you're talking about, we only kicked one field goal against the Vikes in the playoff game and Ingram didn't get a carry on that whole series.

"We fell behind against the rams in a winnable game because of the game plan to stop Ingram. The rams weren't a great run defense last year, so that plan was genius. But SP was so slow to react to the rams throwing a wrinkle into his pre-planned playcalling. Everyone can say we had no Lattimore, but we had Lattimore when an inferior offense to the rams put up 30 on us in the playoffs. Now some have said that had Kamara gotten more touches they would have caught on and stopped him. Kamara's big runs was what got us in the redzone or endzone to get our only TDs in that game. Without Kamara in that game, we get blown out."

The Saints gained 123 rushing yards against the Rams. The running game was working.

On the other hand Goff went 28 of 43 for 354 yards and 2 touchdowns. Not having Lattimore and Crawley in that game definitely had a huge impact. Most people that saw the game felt that was the difference.

It seems like you're going out of your way, even making things up, to belittle Ingram when the truth of the matter is, he was excellent last season.

Yes we played the defeat card before the game was even played. Another saints poster on a variety sports forum even said we were not built for shootouts and he was right. Maybe Lattimore's injury was the issue, but still, we held this team to 26 points and struggled outside of Kamara and Ginn Jr in this game. Kamara had a 17.4(!) ypc average in this game and carried for 89 yards and caught 6 catches for over 100 yards. Ginn was 7 of 11 for 74 yards and no TDs despite a 10.1 ypr average.

And I just looked at the play by play it was Kamara that didn't get the first. Yet he was used up the middle against a defense like that. That is not Kamara's strength. Still, I have seen Ingram's totals in this game. Ingram had one 9 yard carry and everything else 5 or less. After the first two drives, he was limited to 2 yards all game. Those type of runs will hurt the 3rd down offense. So yes that is SP there using Kamara up the middle that cost us from running down the clock. Also, Rhodes is locked in on Thomas I see also on this drive, Brees is looking at him three straight times after Ginn Jr caught a 11 yard pass. The fourth down was converted of all people by Snead, which signifies the luck of our playcalling. But we came back in that game purely with the use of Thomas and Kamara, and that eventually got Ginn Jr open looks. That last drive the vikings tightened down but we needed one yard, just one yard. Running up the middle was our best option?

Okay, I thought it was Ingram that attempted that 3rd and 1 against the vikings. I didn't see it because I was scared the saints would not score. But many people was saying we ran it up the middle to try to get the first and I assumed it was Ingram.

One thing I will also say though is that this started against the jets last year after Coleman fumbled back to back, where you just have to throw it to Thomas despite the defense. Thomas showed he can make plays in tough games. Thomas was clutch, and when he had to bailed the heck out of the the rest of the offense.
