Still don’t understand where that came from. Cornerbacks are going to give up catches from time to time...especially to somebody like Michael Thomas. Thomas was getting catches on Jalen Ramsey in the first preseason game...and that’s the best corner I’ve seen in a LONG time. Far better than Richard Sherman was at his peak. Much more rangey and athletic than Revis. Still, Thomas caught passes. There’s no position harder than cornerback...except quarterback.

And since this migration by the NFL with pass coverage rules toward more points on the scoreboard, cornerback position has become even tougher...

Making it the premium position after quarterback...
