this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Taysom played great! If he played like this the 1st or second preseason game, chances are the trade for Bridgewater wouldn't have happen....

What is Taysom's reality before Bridgewater? Not going to beat out Drew and not going to lose the bench to JT? Bridgewater comes in and he has to actually focus? I am not saying he actually needed the motivation, maybe two weeks ago was an off night. I am saying that motivation is plausible reason and its the Bridgewater acquisition that may have triggered his performance last night.
