this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; How in the hell can he even think about asking for a new contract. One season a career or big contract does not make. I mean come on he has started 10 games and now that the Saints have him ...

Brown wants what??????????????????????
How in the hell can he even think about asking for a new contract. One season a career or big contract does not make. I mean come on he has started 10 games and now that the Saints have him slated for a starter he wants more money. But, I do give it to Loomis, he will not negotiate unless you are there. It is about time somebody gets some nuts and stand up to these mid range guys demanding more money., Get your a$$ in tyo camp and prove it on the field. I am now stepping off the soapbox who's next??????

I really like fakir, but come on! Play out ur deal dude. You are considered an average CB by the rest of the league, an above average CB by Saints fans because up until McKenzie came on board we had really nuthin to spit at as far as CB. Get a life! Get in camp!

He is entering his 6th season in the NFL. He is playing under the type of contract you get when you are an undrafted FA and he started. He's probably making the league minimum. Name one other starting NFL corner making league minimum...
Plus, he has progressed well and done everything the Saints have asked of him. I'm not sure what kind of money he wants, but he probably deserves a new contract. |

How do you guys know this? Haz hasn't heard from him and his agent hasn't heard from him. No one has heard from him.
If he's holding out for more money he might want to inform someone of it. |
