Women choose to work in fields that offer naturally lower compensation. When you take a male and female engineer with the same time in the field and working the same hours the compensation is near identical.

Being Intentionally dishonest about something is shameful.

I beg to differ. The numbers are based upon equivalent job ranges in equivalent industries as reported in US Census data. But, your mind will never be changed, so ...

That said, I really don't have any issue with any play-by-play or color announcer. To me they are nothing more than background noise sharing information while I am watching the game.

I'm sure she has been using the same voice for a long time. That doesn't have anything to do with the point that she exaggerates for the "TV voice". Lot's of announcers do it, and they all annoy me.

That's fine if it doesn't annoy you. To each their own, and such.

I am not particularly well versed in this subject and even I know this to be false.

It's actually not taking into account the hours worked, full time vs part time, years in the field, and the actual position.

Again, it's a lie

So it should be except when the person is a woman. Apparently then you must enjoy her or you're sexist.

Read the note at the bottom.

The overall gender pay ratio compares the median annual earnings of men and women working full-time, year-round. The gender pay gap in dollars is the difference between the median annual earnings of men and women working full-time, year-round.

This is just one of many breakdowns. You obviously didn't look at, or didn't comprehend, the link I provided.

"Some things should be left to tradition" says it all.

Guess what? Traditionally, women couldn't own property in the United States.

Women still make only $.80 for every $1 a man earns. That means that a woman will have to work a decade longer to earn as much as a man.

Fun fact: A 1600s law in Massachusetts proscribed that a woman suffer the same punishment as a witch if they "tempted" man into marriage by wearing high-heeled shoes.

Woman couldn稚 get credit cards until the 70s either. It wasn稚 even as much the fact that she is a woman than the fact that it just wasn稚 entertaining. I like a lot of the sideline reporters.
I like the tradition of football. The intro music, the NFL emblem graphics, etc. I just prefer the male announcers. The whole broadcast lacked intensity. Reminded me of a preseason game.

And, again ... read the note ...

Shows median earnings for full time, year-round female workers as a percent of similar male workers.

Remember, these numbers all come from the US Census Bureau.

Women study and naturally choose lower earning fields.
