I read that on the late long TD vs Browns, Crawley has to chose between two receivers and didn’t recover. Maybe bit of scheme to blame.

When you’re in a zone it’s common to have to choose between two receivers. From what I can tell he had deep third responsibilities. You have ANYBODY who comes deep into your zone. You don’t let anything behind you. You should be able to cover multiple receivers when you’re in a zone. You keep them in front of you and split the difference between them. The most imprortant thing is, if somebody goes deep and you’re in a deep zone that’s where you go. If they catch something short then oh well. You don’t give up the TD. First down or TD. Pick one.

Everybody knew Callaway was the deeper threat on that play. Crawley should've know that.

Situational awareness complete garbage.

If he's choosing between 2 receivers in the zone, you stay behind the deepest threat in that situation & give up the underneath 1st down...live to play another down. You don't fart yourself getting burned 50 in a close game late in the 4th.
