RE: OUR 2005 TEAM RECORD
I THINK WITH OUR O-LINE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE BALL...KEEPING OUR D OFF FIELD....AND WITH THAT EXTRA REST OUR D SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY AT A HIGH LEVEL LONGER.....ALSO MOST OF THE TEAMS WITHIN OUR SCHEDULE THIS SEASON ARE A LITTLE WEAK ON OFFENSE OR IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING THEIR TEAM.....THIS COULD BE A GOOD YEAR FOR US......

RE: OUR 2005 TEAM RECORD
I think 10-6 is realistic given the parity in the NFC. I truly feel we have some of the most talented players at the skill positions in the NFC. It will be interesting to watch. I hope this turns out to be the case. I think if the new run first philosiphy works out, this will also help out our defense. When you constantly are 3 and out and cannot score in the first quarter, a lot of pressure is put on the defense. When your defensive talent is maybe just above mediocre, that will make them look horrible.

12 - 4
If they don't let wins go to their head, 16-0. |

9-7. It's hard to really say the team is going to be that much better without them having entered camp or anything. Let's see how the new offense playbook works out before we get too excited.

The correct answer is 8-8, until they prove otherwise.

RE: OUR 2005 TEAM RECORD
Can't the exact same thing be said about every NFL team? They are what they are until they prove otherwise? Thats no fun, and its incorrect. Changes have been made, we play different teams, coaching philosophy has changed, other teams change.
Based on what I've seen us do, what other teams have done, our schedule, our coaching changes, our team chemistry, our late season success, I'd say barring injuries we should win anywhere from 9 to 11 games. let me rephrase that. On paper this team looks like a 10-6 team plus/minus a game. I'll say 10-6, until they prove otherwise. |

RE: OUR 2005 TEAM RECORD
Pretty tough schedule ... they'll have to go 4-2 in the division to even get to 8-8 ... I agree with Danno: On paper this team (the players) looks like a 10-6 team ... Coaching staff is good for 2 extra losses ... 8-8 again.
