So, from what I understand, and I could likely be wrong because I’m no expert on the Vikings offense... in 3 WR sets the Vikings lineup with Diggs and Treadwell on the outside and Thielen in the slot.
Obviously, we put Lattimore on an island against Diggs. I think Treadwell is just mediocre enough that Eli Apple, with limited familiarity of our defense, should be able to handle him. The terrifying matchup will be Thielen vs PJ Williams on the inside. Oh boy, that is not going to go well. |

I agree with the point that he doesn't have the quick hips to be elite. Maybe Eli Apple will be a stud and we'll never see Crawley again. But whenever he's on the field they gonna test him. So we'll find out one way or another. He reminds me a little of Dave Waymer. Average athleticism with good hands. |
