They are going to see if Bushrod can hold it down without moving the other 4 linemen. Peat at LT and Clapp at LG worked well before (not at same time) so I imagine that is plan B.

That would make more sense to me - Peat is younger, more agile and Bushrod actually had a late-career renaissance when he moved to left guard in Miami...

Bushrod was selected in the fourth round (125th overall) by the New Orleans Saints in the 2007 NFL Draft. This sucks but we will be ok. The only team that has a RE that worries me is Dallas...he should be back for Carolina and Pittsburgh...that’s the important stretch...

It’s not close regarding Armstead and the 2nd best LT...and the Saints organization knows it...hopefully he heals up well and stays for years to come. No one gets close to Brees on his side when he is healthy and his value in the screen game is severely over looked.

Peat is a better LG than LT. Leave him where he is. Bushrod will be fine at LT.
