This year the opposite argument is being used against him. "His stats aren't as good as Mahomes." I'm not saying that Brees should win the MVP award this year. There is no way in ****ing hell he shouldn't have an MVP award though. The media changes the standards on him and he never gets the credit he deserves.

I thought that was really funny as well. They flip the script when the roles are reversed. That's the politics that come with game. I'm am now solely convinced Drew reasons for not winning an MVP had nothing to do with football.
