The sooner we can dump Brees, the faster we'll be popping wheelies and collecting Superbowl rings with Teddy at the helm.

???

Not sure if you are serious here. Are you saying Teddy should be starting over Drew, that would be a foolish statement.

Also, to say these were the same teams is erroneous. Carolina had 2nd and 3rd stringers on D for the 4th qtr (when Teddy had some success).

dude come on...

I actually got the idea because someone on this board literally told me that chase had better numbers than drew as an insinuation it meant he was better than drew.(for that week) So I just wanted to post something absurd and see how many peeps would comment

Plus it is going to be boring until the divisional round so figured I'd have a little fun

Supports our Saints history of making all stars out of first time QB starters

Not to mention Journeyman QB's like Ryan Fitzpatrick & Sam Bradford as well.
Even Roman Gabriel gave thought about coming out of retirement against the saints.

This is an amusing thread, but I would like to address all the haters that I've been seeing (Not here, mind you. Mostly on Facebook.) who are all like "We're in deep trouble if this guy takes over after Drew leaves."

Guys, he was making his first start in three years, behind a patchwork O-line, mostly handing off to a 3rd string RB, with the most vanilla of vanilla play calling. Give the guy a break!

I guess it's stupid for me to post in the Saints forum, since certain people will say "you don't have the right", but, whatever. I just saw this comment and I can't help but reply.

Regardless of any controversy or no controversy, it just doesn't make any sense to say that the offense had to give the team a lead to protect. Who protected the lead, if they won a game while scoring 12 points? The offense? Not quite.

The extent to which people will go to protect the "sacred" ground Brees walks on has always amazed me. And I'm not doggin' on the guy, either. But there has to be a limit somewhere.

How soon we forget the years when the offense had to score like a pinball machine because the defense couldn't protect a lead.
